Hi! I'm Uma!
I started my sourdough journey over a year ago, right after being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. At the time, I knew nothing about sourdough until my father-in-law sent me a video by Barbara O'Neill, where she shared why she only eats sourdough bread and why it's so good for you.
I had already been gluten-free for a while because of my health, but I was curious - maybe sourdough would be different. My sister-in-law gave me some of her starter and showed me how to use it. I got home that day; prepared my first loaf and baked it the next day. I had a small piece, waited a few days... and to my surprise, my body handled it well.
That moment changed everything for me. I became obsessed with sourdough - in the best way! I couldn't stop talking about it, learning, and baking. Soon, friends started asking to buy loaves, and what started as a personal experiment slowly grew into something more. And here we are!
