Hi, my name is Jerusha, I’m an avid sourdough baker based in Abilene, Texas! My love for baking is a fairly ‘new’ acquirement, I’ve always loved cooking so much that I went to culinary school for college but while there I said I’d NEVER be a baker – it was too precise, too measured, too controlled. Well, never say never! After having kids and reading the multitude of ingredients in bread at the grocery store I knew that I needed to dust off my baking skills and remember my schooling again. Little did I know that baking was a hidden talent of mine and that there’s more grace in baking than I thought! Now I bake something every day and I’m so happy to share all of my many-less-ingredient baked goods with everyone! My husband built me a little Farmstand as an honor system bakery to bless our community and the rest is history!
