Welcome to House on the Hill Bakeshop!
I’m Naomi, the baker behind the scenes. I’ve always enjoy experimenting with different forms of baking – I had a pie phase, a cake phase, and then came the bread phase!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been driven to create the kind of baked goods I wanted to feed my family, without the questionable ingredients found on labels at the store, and just better, simpler versions of the things I loved.
And what began as a personal challenge has since transformed into this little cottage bakery.
All around the world it used to be the norm to know the person who created your food – this is my attempt to bring us back there, just a little bit, with homemade and small-batch breads and baked goods made with only the best ingredients and even better intentions.
