Joe’s Bakery Baton Rouge

Established in 2020, Joe’s Bakery Baton Rouge is a home-based, micro-bakery that specializes in pies and specialty items. Founded in October 2020, by mother/daughter duo Beth and Kayla Ford, the bakery is named after Beth’s father/Kayla’s grandfather, Joe, who passed away in 2018. The sadness of his passing was compounded by the new grief of 2020, where Kayla would miss out on all high school graduation activities and ceremonies and Beth would miss seeing her only child hit a major milestone due to the shutdown. Kayla is a college graduate now and has moved on to other pursuits while Beth continues to run the bakery. Joe’s Bakery Baton Rouge strives to bring the best homemade versions of classic desserts home to you, made with the freshest, homemade, quality ingredients.
