Sourdough Mama Bakery

Hi everyone! I'm Karina, born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA and now proud to be building something special here in Ventura County.

I'm a mama, a baker, and a woman of many passions. Baking has always brought me joy, and over the years I've explored everything from sweet treats to makeup artistry.

But becoming a mother shifted something in me. I became more mindful of what we eat and the ingredients we use. That curiosity led me to sourdough. I was immediately drawn to its simplicity, tradition, and nourishing qualities.

For Christmas 2023, one of my sisters gifted me a kit with all the tools I'd need to begin baking...but the starter itself, I created from scratch. That moment sparked something bigger than I could have imagined.

What began as a personal passion for sharing real, wholesome bread with my family and neighbors has grown into Sourdough Mama Bakery! My cottage bakery where I handcraft fresh, small batch baked goods every week with love and care..
