I’ve spent years dabbling in all kinds of baking—cookies, muffins, cakes, you name it—but it wasn’t until my husband encouraged me at the start of this year to try sourdough that I found my true passion. What started as a simple experiment quickly turned into The Riverbend Bakehouse—a cozy little micro-bakery rooted in our home along the river in Geauga County, Ohio. Every loaf I bake is made with care, creativity, and my trusty starter, Doughlores. From classic sourdough to unique seasonal flavors, The Riverbend Bakehouse is my way of sharing warmth, community, and the simple joy of homemade muffins, cookies, and of course, bread!
