Hi, I’m Olive!
Hi, Iām Meri ā the baker behind Olive & Dough š¤ My passion for sourdough began by watching my mother make beautiful breads. For a long time, I never intended to start a micro bakery. I was baking, sharing my loaves, and quietly feeling a pull toward something more. I truly believe God placed this calling in front of me, but I was stubborn and slow to listen. It took nearly a year before I finally said yes. I had my daughter Olivia in my early 40s, and she became the olive branch that brought our little family together. In so many ways, she was a reminder of faith, peace, and new beginnings. What better way to honor both God and this incredible blessing than through the name Olive & Dough? What started as a small farm stand has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined ā rooted in community, faith, and a deep love for real, thoughtfully made bread. Iām so grateful for every step of this journey and for everyone who continues to support it.
